Georgian Shores United Church — an Affirming congregation located in Owen Sound, Ontario, has the following part-time position (20-30 hours a week) open for applications.

Leader Christian Development and Outreach
The Leader will be responsible for planning and conducting programs for children, youth, and young adults, as well as engaging the congregation in reaching out to the local community and the world.
The Church seeks a friendly and respectful team member who will contribute to the achievement of our vision and mission and who will demonstrate our core values.
This position requires:
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- experience working with children and youth
- ability to work with community groups to deliver programs as identified by need
- a basic understanding of scripture as interpreted by the United Church of Canada
- computer literacy
- post-secondary education
- excellent time management
Previous church experience and education is an asset.
This is a negotiable 20-30 hours a week position.
