Adult Choir – Positions Available

Soprano, alto, tenor and bass. No others need apply.

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS: must be able to carry a tune down centre aisles of church and onto the chancel. Must have sufficient vision to see the director flapping his arms to attempt liftoff 20 feet away.
EXPERIENCE: No applications will be accepted from persons who have never sung, hummed, or whistled in the tub or shower.
WAGES: Free coffee and goodies, best seats in the church, joy and satisfaction in performing a needed ministry.
FRINGE BENEFITS: The security of a fellowship with other choir members.
HOURS: Weekly rehearsal Thursdays at 7:00 PM and at 10:00 AM on Sundays, with occasional opportunities for overtime at the above wages.  No “every Sunday” attendance requirement.
VACATION: 3 months off in the summer, sick leave and other liberal arrangements.
RETIREMENT: No particular age, but it is generally determined by printed notes becoming too small, choir gowns too heavy, church too hot or too cold, seats uncomfortable, and an organist unable to play the notes you sing.
